STEMA
(Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Misi Antiokhia)
TSAM (Theological Seminary Of Antioch Mission)
STEMA/TSAM
is the bible study outreach of GBI Antiokhia. It is a Church
based program run by Lukas Kadimin, a Master of Arts in Mission
(MA), who organizes and teaches the course each week.
The
vision and mission of STEMA (Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Misi
Antiokhia) is to help the church fulfill its commission and
to equip and empower the people of God with a knowledge of
God's word and the truth. It has been designed to help the
people of God develop their gifts and their God-given talents,
and also to help them to be effective in the ministry. Ultimately
it has been established to build the body of Christ and the
Church, so that the kingdom of God can advance (qualitatively,
organically and quantitatively).
Some
of the key scriptures that STEMA was founded on are: Ephesians
4:11-15, Acts 13:1-3, Matthew 16:18, 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 2
Timothy 2:2.
The purpose of STEMA and its
education streams is to:
1. Equip the people of God with the truth and knowledge of
God's word so that they can mature in their faith, their attitude,
character and their comprehension of the word. It is also
an aim to cultivate awareness and understanding of how all
believers can experience life in the Spirit every day and
have total victory in God, not just those called to full-time
ministry.
2. Guide the people of God in finding their own personal gifts
and talents that God has given them. We then help by training
and instructing them in those gifts in order to develop them
and increase their effectiveness in ministry with their families,
Churches and also in society.
3. To train people how to win lost souls and teach them how
to fulfill the requirement of the Great Commission of Jesus
Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
The
Principle Reason for the Existence of STEMA:
STEMA aims to develop people to a level where they understand
and walk in harmony of life. We believe that this is the balance
between science (knowledge), spiritual (life in the spirit)
and practice (experience). Therefore STEMA places a heavy
focus on the life of the believer. It is all about seeing
God's people receive the knowledge of God's word and the truth
it contains; also ensuring that they build strong relationships
with people who live a Godly lifestyle and finally, to help
them personally develop a Godly character with skills in ministry
and leadership.
Education
and Materials:
All lessons and materials are compiled in consistency with
the values of the Bible, it's practical values, and the practical
principles that must be understood by God's people. The system
used to organize the course is very easy to follow and has
been designed in such a way that all people, young and old,
can learn greatly from the program. The system facilitates
participation in each presented lesson to allow each member
to gain a clear understanding of the materials being delivered
and it also offers flexibility for mature and knowledgeable
Christians as well as new believers and people with busy schedules.
The purpose of this system is to allow the participant to
receive the maximum spiritual impartation and blessing.
